Windows Xp Sound Problem Solution

I am going to try those other drivers later when i bring the machine back to my firends house ( i cannot connect wirelessly here and it is pointless trying to Trust Microsoft to stuff it up again,   if anyone find the solution to this one I am interest to know and please email Microsoft and tell them to fix SP3. Look for a BIOS setting named something like Onboard Audio or Integrated Audio If you find it, it should be set to ON or ENABLED or something similar Not all BIOS
