Then uncheck the box for "Enable Adobe Flash protected mode" and try that for a day to see whether it helps. However, when I attempted to install it stated update not for my system. Does Windows show "not responding" in the title bar when you try to work with the frozen Firefox, or are there other signs that it's "dead"? must be an update issue. Hoping there is a driver issue else i might go back to Vista 32bit.. NOT on start but maybe 5 to 10 minutes after. I tried it on my old computer, which runs on Windows XP, and it runs perfectly...so I think the problem is with XP and not Access.Please, I would be most grateful something like 15 minutes ... was running window xp pro when I first set up my machine. Samsung 850 EVO (120GB, SSD). What's different about mine is I built this computer in 12/2008 and it was absolutely stable until about about two months ago (Feb or March 2011), when the mouse hangs started, I ran "junk removal tool" and Hijack this.

Its an IbuyPower PC I bought 2 1/2 years ago. The hard drive in the Vista operating system is partitioned. However, right from the start I had major problems with stability... What's up with that?
