I also suggest you verify the bios level, as you won't be able to under Win7 to update it, it won't accept it, thus under Vista.

Hello celestialpocky, I think your right, it looks like it is a driver problem, as you are already in safe mode and it's working ok, that tends to confirm it. (although I tryed installing windows 7 and i keep getting failures during install of corrupted files. Plus Fedora is free and you get lots of software, it really does make microsoft look lame. I use Avira, Antimalwarebytes Antimalware, and Superantispyware.

The graphics card is also a possibility, but if the video does not freeze as well (only the cursor) then I would all but rule it out.Let us know.JohnP.S. I downloaded prime95 and it shows all the values are okay. Read more.
