It worked! Not sure but maybe there's a setting in the BIOS that will allow simultaneous operation. It seems no signal is detected in Display Preferences on my Macbook Pro. Finally, Right click the speaker in the system tray, select Playback devices and disable your computer speakers.

  • if you have geforce graphic card at least with my 760 oc card it allows me to adjust position by opening control panel for geforce !!!!

I would plug it into both my tv and laptop and the screen would switch to the tv. Whatever combo corresponds with the Function 7 (on my Logitech its Fn1), or export display, is a proper first try. i still seem to think it is some combination of tv input, fnf7 and win display options. op, did you make sure to change the display mode on your laptop so that it exports to a second monitor? Join the community here. I was hoping that perhaps an Apple support person would see it and suggest something but I'm not sure if this is how these forums work.I did read another post though Hdmi Cable Not Working Mac Please let me know how I can resolve this issue.
