it says "Windows Media Player is not installed properly and must be reinstalled. So far I have 2 programs that don't work anymore but cannot be accessed, because they are installed with the system or service pack and aren't available by themselves. WMP 11 apparently has many issues. Then try right-clicking an mp3 file again and selecting WMP. Definitely using windows 7 professional. After all this, looked in the Application and Security logs. So I suppose it has something to do with the settings that make the program unable to open.
