Reinstall Internet Explorer 11

I can go to Programs and Features, and only find IE9 under Turn Windows features on or off.   1. Since IE 11 will only allow you to disable it how can I get a previous version of IE installed in its place?

So far updates have changed my sound system ,my printer,and today I had to mess around for three hours,with that disgusting IE 9. I had already invested 30 minutes and I could imagine it taking even longer had I not stumbled onto the thread.
