I am running another scan on this machine now. I tried it with Adobe Acrobat but evidently they don't know how to deal with EPM + 64-bit tabs.
Presumably all three cannot be using "quirks". Once the updates are installed, the fonts return to normal too. To make this file useful or to at least return it to its original name you need to change the file extension in the Windows file browser.
