I used Easeus Partition Master 6.0.1 HE (completely freeware) to reassign a drive letter to the lost partition. Has anybody found a solution, if possible, specifically applicable to a scenario where the hard drive is actually a external USB hard drive, (Seagate Expansion Drive 1tb)? How long to get back to where you are now EXACTLY??? smh! my review here

now they sell 4T for the same price. Unplugged External Hard Drive While Formatting Replace the letter E with the letter of the drive that you are trying to fix. All my drives, wether internal or external, worked fine before the Anniversary Update.

Now whenever I plug in the hard drive into any computer, the various OSes want to format the hard drive. Was using My WD External 1TB HDD for my Xbox 360, now my computer will not show the drive in Explorer, but the Xbox picks it up just fine. hope Microsoft gets them sorted. useful reference Personally, I would like to know an expected eta.

In all of the cases that we have diagnosed, files were safely intact on the drives – so please, don’t reformat. You can also access your files by connecting the affected drive
Recover deleted files and recover formatted disk or corrupt drives - EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard. Do not write anything back to the external. That happened to me when I unplugged one of my devices when it started downloading something that looked suspicious.I just pulled it out. It was not being recognized.

Do you still need any more diagnostic information? Got most things back to the way I want them and did a reboot.
