Anyway, when I finally checked my usage, it was no where near full. I wonder if there are corrupted Time Machine backups somewhere in the system, but I am unable to find any. Right-click cmd in the Programs list, and then click Run as administrator. Lately, my 200GB OS/program hard drive has been mysteriously losing storage space and I don't know why! weblink

  1. At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER: chkdsk /r 4.
  2. By right clicking on that you will be able to get the info to obtain the size of the cache.
  3. Besides that, I would have seen the 100GB I am seeking if it had been in that folder.
