I was getting 100% cpu usage but about 25mb mem. I just wiped my hard drive did a full OS reinstall and non of the other problems have shown up except for the hp thing. Gediminas says October 7, 2007 at 5:09 am Very usefull information. No input is needed, the scan is running.

There is a patch on the HP web site support center for the problem of HP software uninstalling itself! I'm having quite a bug problem with a high memory usage in one of the svchost.exe processes(more than 120,00+ memory usage) and if i try to use another program like firefox, Once the black screen disappears, Click Start > Run, choose the Browse button and find the WindowsUpdateAgent30-x86.exe file you saved before, press Open, then OK. I just of that when I was writing this comment. This setting disables automatic Windows update in your machine, and you have to perform the update manually if you need. Once installed the update, you should restart your machine to take the changes in effect. To download it, go to the Windows update client for Windows 7 page and download the  KB3050265 named file.
