A quick-scan with McAfee AntiVirus worked and reported no issues. Nothing has worked, not even a clean install of Windows 10 with everything wiped from the drive. Be sure to post that in your next reply along with the result of the test. Repeat until all programs have been closed.

  • Confirm each time with Ok.
  • Then click change plan settings->Change advanced power setting.In ther check hard disk and processor and set to -> turn off HDD after 1HR or your option / same to CPUIF above

If the BIOS is set to 1st boot device, and the burn was good, it should be booting from the optical drive. Later on Windows updates came up and would fail/succeed on updates.
