EXACT problem for me too, After I updated the system the same thing occured, Tried resetting the bios but didnt really know what else to do so I brought it to Doing so will not result in anyone with the inclination/ability to assist you...doing so any more rapidly. ps: Forgot to mention, I've tried reinstalled Win 7 from Recovery Disc, swap the RAM module and HDD, reset bios to default and even swap charging adaptor and battery. Save & Exit again. I chose to 're-start windows' - this restarted the computer but I still ended up with a black screen. it lets me put my password in and then turns to a black screen. And the worse the freeze-up and black screen, the more errors there were.
