When booting windows XP in safe mode the last driver that shows loaded is mup.sys. Same problem, couldn't boot in safe mode XP sp3. it helps when trying to reload the file in question. I read somewhere that installing the latest AMD Catalyst Beta with separate Intel drivers would work.
